I am, but why?”
I remember,
Knowing and able,
Yearning to be and be loved.
From the depths of my mother
To union with another,
In served stranger, now brother:
God’s gracious wonder
Is to live as He does in
Amidst the boundless joys of forgotten sorrows,
Soul agonies groan suffered in sin.
The mystery love way -
To forgive is to live -
Is knowing Jesus today.
My quiet dying, I obey,
Receiving a risen presence within
Me, my path He ordains
And forever sustains . . .
